In Thailand, a diver bought a shark from a restaurant and gave it freedom

23-year-old diving instructor Victor Salmon saved the shark from becoming dinner and released it into the open sea.

Victor had long dreamed of seeing a shark during a dive, but luck was not with him. Then he decided to go to a restaurant that serves shark dishes.

An employee of the establishment sold a live shark to the diver for a symbolic price - only 700 baht (about $20 USD).

The lucky owner of the shark immediately took it to the sea. “I saved her from a terrible fate,” says Victor.

A man released a shark into the Gulf of Thailand, giving it a chance for a new life. This was reported by MIR 24 with reference to The Independent.
