The first phase of a cottage complex has opened on Wednesday along the Mary-Ashgabat highway.
According to Turkmenistan's official media, the first 59 two-story well-appointed cottages were put into operation. A total of 200 such cottages are planned to be built.
The construction of the new residential complex is being carried out by the Ojar Aziýa private enterprise, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
According to the report, the home plots have been created for gardening or horticulture, as well as plenty of space for children's recreation.
Each cottage, covering an area of 536 square meters, features 8 spacious rooms, a basement, and a garage.Additionally, each unit is equipped with outdoor engineering systems for water, gas, and electricity supply, as well as telecommunications.
On Wednesday, with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a solemn ceremony was held to inaugurate the section of the Tejen-Mary high-speed highway of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat route.
