Kakabay Kakabayev won a bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Asian Cadet Championship

Turkmen sportsmen Kakabay Kakabayev won a bronze award in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Asian Cadet Championship, held in Bishkek.

Kakabay Kakabayev (weight category up to 65 kg) in the struggle for a third place beat a Korean Taeyong Kwon with a score 7:1.

In the final fight, the representative of Kyrgyzstan Kutman Temirbekov defeated Tajik Sunat Abdulloev — 7:1. The second bronze award was taken by Sergazy Abdykadyr from Kazakhstan.

The Asian Wrestling Championship among youth and cadets will end on June 26. For the first time, the Asian Wrestling Championship is held simultaneously in two age categories — under 17 and under 23.
