International exhibition and conference dedicated to development of construction industry in Turkmenistan were opened in the Trade and Industrial Chamber.The Ministry of Construction and Architecture and the State Concern Turkmenawtoyollary has organized representative forum.
The exposition reflects the tendencies of development of national construction industry.the main goals of the exhibition are to demonstrate the achievements of construction industry, modern technologies, projects and competitive production, expansion of trade and economic relations, to exchange the practices and information in the sphere of innovative technologies and to establish the relation between the producers and consumers.
The members of the Government, leaders of the Mejlis, profile ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in our country, representatives of international organizations, national and foreign businessmen, scientists, experts and mass media took part in the opening ceremony of international exhibition.
The participants has listened the greeting of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with great attention.Turkmen leader highlighted that international exhibition and conference are to paly big role in popularization of the achievements of construction industry of Turkmenistan as well as in creation of conditions for exchange of practice between national specialists and their foreign colleagues.

The production and construction materials demonstrated at the exhibition are to attract the interest of businessmen, specialists and ordinary consumers. The exhibition presents innovative projects in different branches including in power energy.The interest of the visitors is raised by combined gas steam power station on the territory of Mary State Power Station, which construction is made at the request of the State Power Energy Corporation “Turkmenenergo”.
Production capacity of the power station is 1574 MWt.Total power output of the main power station of Turkmenistan will grow twice after its commissioning.Environmental friendliness and practically zero-waste production as well as economy of the resources, as it is not only gas but also steam would be used as a fuel, are the main advantages of new facility.
Local private construction sector is widely represented at the review by Nusaý ýollary, Altyn Nesil, Aktab, Ajaýyp gurluşyk, Beýik Bina companies.For the last several years, private companies of the country have developed the production of dozens of construction materials meeting international quality standards.
Glass mosaic, which produced completely from local materials under the course toward import substitution, is worth to be mentioned among such products.There are many examples of using of mosaic panels, which decorate living and administration buildings in the capital, in the architecture of modern Ashgabat.
They are distinguished by bright national colours in combination with the tradition of local applied art.The production of glass mosaic will allow Turkmen construction industry waiving imported analogues of this type of decorating materials.
Local entrepreneurs have also developed the manufacture of leather products for realization of the objectives on import substitution.The material for such production is supplied by local livestock farming complexes.
The country has arranged the production of modern high quality footwear and furniture, which successfully compete in local market with foreign analogues and will be exported in the future.
Leading foreign profile companies as well as producers of innovative construction, decorative materials and specialized equipment like Poyatos, Bouygues, Rönesans, Hebei Weizhengheng Modular House Technology, Gap Inşaat, Tikkurila, Hofmann GmbH and other have placed their exhibition stands at the exposition.

Cement production is priority direction of construction material industry.Plants of the country make the most required brands of cement.This is high durable Portland cement, which is used for construction of multi-storey buildings and other facilities in seismic zone.
In addition, the production of oil-well cement for oil and gas industry as well as sulphate resistant cement for the foundations of the bridge pillars and other hydro technical facilities.
The exhibition represents the facilities specialized in production of ceramic bricks, reinforcement bars, metal profiles, plastic and fibre glass pipes, which production is growing in the country every year.
Rich reserve of natural resources allows increasing the production of expanded clay, which is made of argillite produced at Yagman deposit in Balkan Velayat.At present, the works on opening of the facilities making new production from local resources super fine basalt fibre and insulation and composite materials on its base, is continued in Turkmenistan.
This product is highly demanded at internal and foreign markets.Perspectives of the capital’s development, rapidly renovating cities and towns are illustrated by the models of various facilities.
