Ballet dancers from Kyrgyzstan will have the opportunity to undergo an internship at the Nuovo Balletto Classico Higher Ballet School in the Italian city of Reggio Emilia, reported the Kabar news agency with reference to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.
Ways to increase cooperation in the cultural sphere between Kyrgyzstan and Italy were discussed during the meeting of the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to this country, Taalai Bazarbaev, with the founder of the Italian Academy of Classical Ballet “Etoile” of the Milan theater “La Scala” Liliana Cosi and the head of the higher ballet school Nuovo Balletto Classico Stafa Rezart.
Representatives of the creative elite of Italy were acquainted with the activities of the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater and the Bishkek Choreographic School. During the discussion, a proposal was made to organize internships in Italy for Kyrgyz dancers and classical dance teachers.
The head of the ballet school expressed his readiness for cooperation, within the framework of which, by the beginning of 2024, four quotas will be allocated for ballet dancers of Kyrgyzstan to undergo an internship in the city of Reggio Emilia.
