President of Turkmenistan, President of the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Olympic village of the capital, where He took part in the Medal Ceremony of awarding the Turkmen athlete Yulduz Jumabayeva with the highest award at the IWF World Championships, held in Ashgabat in November 2018.
Welcoming the participants of the celebration, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined that it is a significant event for Turkmen sports and the whole country.As the President noted, "We have gathered to award the athlete of the national team Yulduz Jumabayeva, who was recognized as the world champion among athletes in the weight category of 45 kilograms by the International Weightlifting Federation."
Then, in a solemn ceremony, the President of Turkmenistan, the President of the National Olympic Committee Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov handed over the gold medals of the IWF World Championships held in Ashgabat in 2018 to Yulduz Jumabayeva.
During the ceremony, the word was given to the President of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), Dr. Michael Irani and General Secretary of the International Weightlifting Federation, the First Vice-President of the Asian Weightlifting Federation, Mohammed Jalood, which addressed the participants of the celebration via a online video conference.
Expressing gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his continuous efforts to develop sports in Turkmenistan, including weightlifting, the participants of online video conference wished the Turkmen athletes further success at international competitions.
The Medal Ceremony of awarding Yulduz Jumabayeva, her coach and Head of Turkmenistan Weightlifting Federation was organized at the “Sport” hotel of the Olympic village.
Exhibition of achievements of Turkmen sportsmen, which exposition included various prizes won at prestige international competitions as well as articles of visual, decorative and applied art, has been expanded in the lobby of the hotel.
Relative Order of the head of the state, according to which student of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport Yulduz Jumabayeva has been awarded with medal Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin, has been read in the beginnign of the ceremony.
According to the Order of the head of the state, the sportswoman has been presented with white Lexus LX570 Sport Plus, 2020 make.
It has become a good tradition to award sportsmen, who made personal contribution to the improvement of the authority of Turkmenistan in international sport arena, on the government level.
The Order of the President of Turkmenistan on award of the medal Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin to the weightlifting coach of the High Sport Skill School of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs M.

The Order of the President of Turkmenistan on award of the Medal of Turkmenistan Gaýrat to Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan B. Myatiyev for big work success in the government and public service has been read out at the event held in the Sport Hotel.
The awarded has expressed sincere gratitude to the President for his permanent care of popularization of sports, making conditions for achievement of big success in sport sphere in the country as well as for fruitful activity in different directions.
Ceremonial concert and demonstrations of sportsmen have been organized in honor of current remarkable event.
