Museum of e-book opened in Moscow

The opening of the Electronic Book Museum was held in the Russian State Library for Youth. The permanent exhibition presents the history of the development of information carriers and ways of transferring knowledge.

It total, the exhibition has several sections, each of which demonstrates a certain stage in the evolution of information media. As the management of the exhibition noted, the exhibits in the museum were collected for almost 15 years.

The 1928 Remington typewriter was the centerpiece. And one of the hard-to-reach elements of the exhibition was the first Kindle e-book reader manufactured by Amazon, reports gazeta.ru.
