New textbooks have been published for secondary school students in Turkmenistan

The Turkmen state publishing service, on the recommendation of the Ministry of education of Turkmenistan, has published new textbooks for secondary school students in the country.The textbook Persian language (second foreign language) for 6th grade students was prepared by the authors B.

Atanyyazova, B.Akmammedova and A.Ashyrova.The textbook was developed in accordance with the educational program and is aimed at further improving the methods of teaching foreign languages.

It includes sections for reviewing material covered and new sections devoted to grammar, vocabulary, and the study of topics such as Family, School, Seasons, Professions, Numbers, Dialogues, and others.

The publication also includes additional reading texts, a dictionary, and colourful illustrations, which make the learning process more effective and engaging.The new textbook will help students develop their reading, writing, and speaking skills in Persian, as well as expand their knowledge of the culture and traditions of Persian-speaking countries.

Another new textbook, Biology (Plants, Bacteria, Fungi, Lichens), is intended for 7th-grade students in specialised secondary schools with in-depth study of natural sciences.The authors of the publication are M.

Akyyev, P.Kepbanov, B.Annadurdyyeva, O.Rejepalyyeva and Y.Atajanov.The book includes 88 educational topics, divided into 8 thematic sections: Basic processes of plant life; Diversity of flowering plants; Agricultural crops; Useful plants of Turkmenistan; Development of the plant world on Earth; Bacteria; Fungi; Lichens.

Each topic is accompanied by questions and practical tasks.The textbook is aimed at deepening the knowledge of students in the fields of biology, ecology and environmental protection.

It will help students better understand the role of plants in nature, the characteristics of their development, as well as the influence of the environment and human activities on the plant world.
