The women's football team "Olympus" from the city of Mary topped the standings of the Turkmenistan championship after the first round. Mary football players have 13 points in five matches played, reports the Football Federation of Turkmenistan.
The Ashgabat team “Alty Touch” is one point behind the leader and takes second place in the standings. In third place with 10 points is “Miras” from Turkmenabat.
In total, 6 women's football clubs participate in the championship. In addition to the leading teams, “Balkan” from Balkanabat, “Ashgabat” and “Gurgench” from Dashoguz are also participating in the tournament.
The second round of the national championship is scheduled for this fall.
