The St. George Ribbon campaign has started in Russia for the upcoming celebration of the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, RIA Novosti reports.
The first venue for the action this year was the Moscow International Multimedia Press Center of the Russia Today media group.
More than 30 thousand volunteers will distribute ribbons to everyone in all Russian regions. Also, within the framework of the event, a photo exhibition dedicated to the St. George Ribbon campaign was opened in the Federation Council.
The Victory campaign “George Ribbon” has been held in Russia and CIS countries since 2005.
