Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held online talks with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Albert Karimov.
During the online meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the progressive dynamics of partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, as well as the impressive potential for enhancing the dialogue.
Exchanging views on the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of strengthening cooperation in the healthcare and medical industry was underlined.As emphasized, the establishment of close ties between specialists and medical scientists of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation will make it possible to update the mechanisms of scientific diplomacy to counter the spread of coronavirus infection.
The parties expressed their mutual aspiration to expand mutually beneficial partnership across the entire spectrum of areas with the aim to strengthen the Turkmen-Russian strategic cooperation.
