Our children are on the Internet

The concert Our children are on the internet, dedicated to the International Children's Day, was successfully held at the Watan cinema and concert hall in the capital of Turkmenistan.

The audience in the hall is of different ages. The artists are boys and girls from several creative groups. The dress code for them is a white suit, as a symbol of purity.

The accompanists are musicians from the Melodiya orchestra, led by international competition laureate Annaoraz Dovletov. On stage, concert host Yekaterina Darchiya, on behalf of cultural and artistic figures of Turkmenistan, expressed deep gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for his commitment to the development of national creativity.

The concert program opened with a dance number The Dance of notifications. The participants of the composition, holding smartphones in their hands, performed a dance with sharp, abrupt movements, imitating electronic options.

Expanding on the theme Our children are on the internet, the songs Computer, Helper, and Internet by Georgiy Vasiliyev, What progress has come to!by Yuriy Entin, and Zombie Smartphones by the Fixies project were performed.

Alongside the song-and-internet repertoire, songs of beloved children were performed: Chunga-Changa in a version of the lyrics adapted by Yekaterina Darchiya, the instrumental number Pipe by Ayna Shirova, a song from the film The Bremen town musicians, the song Little mammoth performed by the Singing nightingales choir, the song Buratino by Vladimir Shainskiy, the song Vatanym by Rovshen Nepesov, and the song Planet of childhood by Alexander Jurbin.

And there is a reasonable explanation for the performance of these songs - despite the Internet, no one has cancelled out a happy childhood.A highlight of the program was the performance by students of the Lezginka school Sunja, led by Allaberdi Atayev.

The little dancers performed the famous Lezginka dance with passion and an incredibly fast rhythm, transferring some of their energy to the audience. And the audience, in gratitude, chanted to the talented dancer: Well done!.

The concert ended with the song of Andrey Aleksin Let love rule the world. The meaning of the song summed up the wishes of the vast majority of people on the planet: That our advanced children, their children, and grandchildren live and develop under a peaceful sky, and that progress brings people only joy.
