Participants of the world's longest rally arrived in Ashgabat

Several dozen participants of the third edition of the İpek Yolu Rally, considered the longest in the world, arrived in the capital of Turkmenistan. This international competition, which started on August 4 in Istanbul, brought together pilots from Türkiye, Italy, Germany, Austria and Moldova.

The rally is organized by the "Friendship and Peace East-West" Rally Association with the support of the European Union and the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The route passes through eight countries. Next stop is Azerbaijan, then Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and China.

President of the Association Nadir Serin said that 30 car enthusiasts from seven countries are taking part in the competition. The rally started at Sultanahmet Square in Istanbul, and the finish is scheduled for August 28 in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar.

In Ashgabat, rally participants were received at the official residence of the Turkish Embassy.
