On 1112 May 2026, a delegation of Turkmenistan led by the Minister of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, Charyyar Chetiyev, took part in the 35th Session of the Regional Conference for Europe of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, held in Dushanbe with the participation of representatives of regional states, international organizations, and relevant agencies.

Within the framework of the forum, meetings and exchanges of views were held on promising areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in the fields of agriculture, food security, and environmental protection.
