Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to UNESCO appointed

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution appointing the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the French Republic (Paris) Maksat Esenovich Charyev as the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). This was reported in today’s issue of the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.

UNESCO (UNESCO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations for education, science and culture, which includes attractions in the World Heritage List. The organization was founded on November 16, 1945, its headquarters is located in Paris (France).

Let’s remind that the decree on the appointment of Maksat Charyev as Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France (Paris) signed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in July 2022. By presidential decree, he was given the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

In August 2022, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France Maksat Charyev officially assumed diplomatic functions.
