President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov had a phone talk with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye, during which the Head of state thanked the Turkish President for the gift of new TOGG electric cars of Turkish production to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and him.
The President of Turkmenistan noted that the handing over of keys to the cars on the opening day of Arkadag, the city built based on the "smart city" concept, coincided with the birthday of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, which added to the joy of the momentous event, the official Turkmen media reported on Friday.
The Turkish President thanked the Head of state for his kind words and congratulated him on the commissioning of the first stage of the Arkadag city.
The sides praised the development of the Turkmen-Turkish dialogue based on the principles of trust and mutual respect. In addition, the parties confirmed the continued commitment of the two countries to the comprehensive expansion of existing ties and filling them with new content.
