President of Azerbaijan received the Vice-Premier of Turkmenistan for trade complex

The issues of energy, transport, logistics and mutual supply of goods were discussed today at the meeting of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Atdayev, Azerbaijani mass media reports.

A delegation of Turkmenistan led by Vice-Premier of Turkmenistan for Trade arrived in Baku for participation in the meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres.

During the conversation, it was noted that the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan has increased, and stressed the importance of implementing joint projects for the further expansion of this turnover in the coming period. Moreover, the opportunities for cooperation in shipbuilding, ship repair and other industrial sectors were discussed.
