President of Turkmenistan allows Turkmenenergo to extend agreement on electricity supplies to Afghanistan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution allowing the State Electric Power Corporation Turkmenenergo of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan to conclude additional agreements with the Afghan company Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat for the supply of electricity from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan, TDH reports.

The document was signed for the purpose of implementing programs for the export of Turkmen electricity abroad, as well as continuing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan in the field of electric power.
