Representatives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan took part in the WHO symposium

Representatives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan took part in the Second WHO Symposium “The Future of Health Systems in the European Region in the Digital Age” in Porto, Portugal.

According to the publication “Turkmenistan: the Golden Age”, the event, organized by the WHO Regional Office for Europe (WHO Regional Office for Europe) together with the government of Portugal, was held in a hybrid format.

The symposium program included plenary and parallel technical sessions on current topics related to the digitalization of healthcare systems.

Experts from different countries shared practical recommendations for implementing safe and inclusive digital health solutions and discussed factors that need to be taken into account when designing and developing sustainable digital health systems. Participants also analyzed the future of digital health systems and digital services.

Based on the results of the forum, system-wide recommendations will be developed, which will be presented at the WHO conference on health systems, organized this year in Tallinn.
