Russia fully supports Turkmenistan’s neutrality  Ambassador Volynkin

On December 12, Turkmenistan celebrates the 29th anniversary of Permanent Neutrality. In his congratulatory message, Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin noted that this unique status was unconditionally recognized by the United Nations and can serve as a model for many countries around the world, the press service of the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat reported.

The head of the Russian diplomatic mission emphasized that Turkmenistan’s foreign policy enjoys great authority in the international arena and contributes to strengthening stability and security both at the regional and global levels.

Volynkin also noted that Turkmenistan’s constructive initiatives are of interest to the world community, and emphasized that Russia fully supports the status of positive neutrality proclaimed by Turkmenistan.
