Russia has delivered production for the building of TAPI by a month ahead the term

The Chelyabinsk factory OMK (Russia) has delivered production for building of international gas pipeline TAPI by a month ahead the term, inform the Russian mass-media.

The factory “Trubodetal” (enters ОМК) for four months of the current year has delivered 960 tons of pipelines fittings for the international main gas pipeline TAPI which will pass through four countries: Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. As the customer of products the Turkmen State Concern “Turkmengaz” acted.

Turkmenistan is for us a perspective region where we are ready to deliver our production and we have for this purpose a wide experience and technical possibilities.Working in cooperation with Vyksa Steel Works (OMK Group), we can manufacture the pipeline fittings of any standard sizes, including European standard, in deadlines.

We thank our partners from Turkmengaz for the trust and choice of our production, the operating factory manager of “Trubodetal” Eugenie Baranov noted.

TAPI will pass from a huge gas deposit of Galkynysh in the south of Turkmenistan through the Afghani cities of Herat and Kandahar, the Pakistan Quetta and Multan to the city of Fazilka in the west of India.

The extent of the gas pipeline will make up 1814 km (across Turkmenistan 214 km, across Afghanistan 774 km, across Pakistan 826 km).The throughput capacity of TAPI 33 billion cubic metres of gas a year.
