Speaking during the 6th Economic Forum, Head of the Government Assistant of the Oryol Region Alexander Agababov emphasized that the development of the Turkmen-Russian interregional trade and economic cooperation was of particular importance.
“It is reasonable to establish the joint working group that will make advanced planning. The goals, stages and volumes of the work of the group will be defined while signing the road map’ on the trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the RF regions. To ensure this, it is necessary to optimize our partnership”, said A. Agababov.
Moreover, A.Agababov noted that Turkmenistan and Russia were at the height of the friendly relations today.During the recent visit of RF President Vladimir Putin to Turkmenistan, the leaders of the two states signed a number of important agreements, including the agreements on the enhancement of the interregional cooperation.
Therefore, today it is very important to use the opportunities provided by the agreements achieved at the top level.
Focusing on the development of the interregional relations, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Vladimir Padalko noted the Russian businessmen expressed the interest in developing the interregional trade and economic cooperation with Turkmenistan. “This year the delegations of our countries paid visits to five velayats in Turkmenistan and five provinces in the Russian Federation, and today, the representatives of eight regions in Russia take part in the Ashgabat forum.
We are planning to continue working in this direction, increase the mutual visits and intensify the programmes of the multi-aspect cooperation”, said Vladimir Padalko.
