The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit to Turkmenistan. The newspaper of the Republic reports.
The distinguished guest was met at the airport of Ashgabat by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Myatiyev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Turkmenistan Alexander Blokhin.
Within the framework of the visit, Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in the plenary meeting of the Turkmen-Russian business-forum, in the ceremony of laying the foundation of the main mosque of the Ahal velayat in the city of Arkadag, will also visit the service center of PJSC “KAMAZ” in Ashgabat.
Besides, Rustam Minnikhanov is scheduled to meet President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
As it was reported earlier, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will also visit Turkmenistan on January 19.
