The bronze medal in the snatch was won by Anamjan Rustamova from Turkmenistan at the 2023 Asian Weightlifting Championships held in Jinju (Republic of Korea). She achieved this success in the weight category up to 87 kg, in which 7 weightlifters from 6 countries competed for awards.
Rustamova lifted 102 kg in the snatch.However, in the clean and jerk, she showed the fifth result (124 kg) and eventually took fifth place (226 kg).The winner of the Asian Championship was Lo Ying Yuan (Taiwan) - 241 kg (110 + 131).
The second place was taken by Yoon Ha Jae (Republic of Korea) - 231 kg (99 + 132).And Rigina Adashbayeva (Uzbekistan) closed the top three - 230 kg (103+127).
The weightlifting team of Turkmenistan at the Asian Championships is represented by 16 athletes.
The Asian Championship in Jinju will end on May 13th.
