Saudi Arabia launched new visas for students

The Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have jointly introduced an educational visa program. The goal of the program is to attract scientists and students from abroad to develop higher education in the country. This was reported by russianemirates.com with reference to Arabian Business.

The new visa opportunity was announced at the “Human Development Initiative” conference in Riyadh.

Education Minister Youssef Al Bunyan, who attended the launch of the program, noted:

“The Saudi Arabia Education Visa aims to promote the country as a preferred destination for students and scholars regionally and globally”.

The joint efforts of the two ministries make it easier for international students to obtain information and visas to study in the Kingdom. The Study in Saudi Arabia platform was created for this purpose.

The site provides lists of short-term and long-term study programs, as well as academic and research programs at recognized Saudi universities.

After entering the university, students must additionally apply for a study visa.

According to information on the platform, more than 100 000 foreign graduates, as well as students and professors from more than 170 countries, study at the Kingdom's universities.
