Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan won 6 medals at the Copernicus International Olympiad in Singapore

The 7th Copernicus International Olympiad in Mathematics concluded in Singapore.Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan took part in this prestigious international competition for the first time, bringing together students from different countries.

The debut of Turkmen team debut was confident and productive.Participants from Turkmenistan won 6 medals 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze.Ayjeren Muhammetnazarova, a student at the Belent Bilim educational centre in Mary, won a gold medal and the title of Absolute Winner in her age category.

She was awarded a special prize - a MacBookAir.The winners of silver medals were Davut Muhammetnazarov, a student of the Belent Bilim educational centre from the city of Mary, Geldimyrat Saryyev, a student of school № 135 in Ashgabat, and Emirmuhammet Sabyrov, a student of school № 35 from the city of Hazar in the Balkan velayat.

Bronze medals were awarded to Ahmet Bagtyyarov, a student of Ashgabat school № 135, and Melike Begliyeva, a student of Ashgabat school № 97.The Copernicus Olympiad is an international intellectual platform where schoolchildren demonstrate their knowledge, logic, speed of thought, and ability to solve high-level problems.
