SCRMET Deals Net $34.2 Million in Urea Sales

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) sold urea grade "B" for $34.28 million on Tuesday, reports SCRMET.

Business representatives from Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates purchased urea grade "B" produced by the State Concern Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) for foreign currency.

Last week, transactions at SCRMET amounted to $77.668 million.

Founded in 1994, SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
