The total value of transactions registered last week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) exceeded $70.9 million, as reported by the SCRMET press service on Monday.
Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Afghanistan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and others purchased deoiled diesel fraction, urea, technical sulfuric acid from Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, as well as hydroprocessed diesel fuel, liquefied gas, road bitumen, low-sulfur fuel oil, base oil, and polypropylene produced by the technological facilities of Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) and Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concerns in foreign currency transactions.
Additionally, sets of bed linen, cotton yarn, and fabric were sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries included the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, and Azerbaijan.
On the domestic market, local businessmen purchased polypropylene from Türkmennebit SC, cotton yarn, handmade carpets, and licorice root extract, totaling over 42.07 million manats.
In total, 36 transactions were registered on the SCRMET last week.
