SCRMET Concludes Deals Worth 25.7 Million Manats

Deals totaling 25.715 million manats were struck Friday at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), the exchange announced.

Local entrepreneurs concluded agreements with the state association Türkmengallaönümleri for the purchase of first-grade wheat flour, and with the state concern Türkmennebit for the acquisition of polypropylene grade TPP D 30 S.

Business representatives from Georgia and the United Arab Emirates purchased polypropylene grade TPP D 30 S from the state concern Türkmennebit in foreign currency, while their counterparts from Turkey concluded deals with local entrepreneurs for the purchase of regenerated base oil grade SN-200 and first-grade wheat flour.

Entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan also struck agreements with local businesses for the purchase of textile products and first-grade wheat flour. The total value of transactions reached $5,120,400.

A total of 16 deals were concluded at SCRMET on Friday.
