SCRMET Sells Technical Sulfur For 55.2 Million Manats

At trading on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Friday, local entrepreneurs purchased low-grade technical sulfur from the state concern Türkmengaz for a total of 55.2 million manats, the exchange reported.

For foreign currency, business representatives from Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates bought first-grade wheat flour from local entrepreneurs, while entrepreneurs from Serbia concluded a deal with the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan for the purchase of dry licorice root extract. The total value of these transactions amounted to $1.267 million.

A total of five transactions were concluded at the exchange on Friday.

During the previous week, foreign currency transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $350.748 million.
