Petrochemical Deals Reach $26.5 Million at SCRMET

Petrochemical products worth a total of $26.578 million were sold at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Monday, the exchange reported.

Entrepreneurs from Türkiye signed deals with the state concern Turkmenhimiya to purchase technical sulfuric acid, while business representatives from Uzbekistan signed agreements with the state concern Turkmennebit to acquire SN-600 base oil.

A Turkish entrepreneur also purchased cotton yarn from local businesses for a total of $43,340.

Last week, transactions worth $57.883 million in foreign currency were concluded at the exchange.
