II week of June: SCRMET Transactions Reach $19.5 Million

A total $19.5 million transactions were concluded last week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, Turkmen state media reported on Monday.

Business representatives from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased liquefied gas produced by the State Concern Turkmengas. Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Serbia also purchased wheat flour, licorice root and licorice root extract, cottonseed oil and cotton yarn.

On the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased road bitumen, cottonseed oil, cotton yarn, cotton fabric and cotton fiber for the domestic market in deals totaling more than 244 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 54 transactions during week.
