SCRMET Expands Cooperation With Turkish Commodity Exchange

A delegation from the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan is on a working visit to the Turkish Mercantile Exchange (TÜRİB) in Ankara on July 22-23, 2026, TÜRİB reported on its official X account.

As part of the two-day program, representatives of the two exchanges will exchange information and experience on licensed warehousing, the Electronic Warehouse Receipt (ELÜS) market, the activities of authorized classifiers, the TÜRİS system and the operation of agricultural commodity markets.

The Turkmen delegation includes Yusup Amansaryyev, Deputy chairman of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, and Azat Jelilov, Deputy head of the Legal Affairs and Human Resources Department.

The visit also includes meetings between representatives of the Turkmen and Turkish exchanges to discuss expanding cooperation between the two countries' commodity exchanges and to review the structure and operations of commodity markets.

The delegation is also scheduled to visit the Polatlı Commodity Exchange to learn about its laboratory services and licensed warehousing facilities.
