SCRMET Sells Cotton Fiber Worth 15M Manats

Cotton fiber worth 15.012 million manats was sold on Thursday at auctions held by the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), the exchange said.

Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased 2024 harvest cotton fiber from the state concern Turkmenpagta for export.

Turkish business representatives also bought cotton fiber and cotton yarn worth $217,437.57.

A total of three deals were concluded during Thursday’s trading session.

During the previous week, transactions on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan totaled 529.835 million manats.
