Following the high-level negotiations, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan exchanged symbolic gifts, Anadolu Agency reports.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov presented his Turkish colleague with a Turkmen Alabay puppy named Gardash. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in turn, presented the head of Turkmenistan with two Turkish Kangal puppies as a gift.
Mutual gifts have become symbols of friendship and deep respect, the news agency comments.
