President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent a congratulatory message to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of his birthday, the press service of the Azerbaijani president reported Friday.
Berdimuhamedov said that under Aliyev’s leadership Azerbaijan has achieved significant success in consolidating statehood, strengthening its international standing and improving the living standards of its people.
He noted that Turkmen-Azerbaijani relations, grounded in the principles of good neighborliness, friendship and mutual understanding, have recently entered a new stage of development.
The Turkmen president expressed satisfaction with the high level of mutual trust and understanding in bilateral relations, describing them as a solid foundation for the continued successful development of both countries.
Berdimuhamedov concluded by wishing Aliyev good health, happiness, family well-being and continued success in public service, and extended wishes of peace, sustainable progress and prosperity to the Azerbaijani people.
