Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Minister of Trade of Turkey

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Minister of Trade of Turkey Omer Bolat, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the Turkish Export Goods Exhibition. During the meeting, the minister conveyed greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and expressed wishes of happiness and prosperity to the Turkmen people, TDH reports.

During the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of the exhibition for enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. The head of state emphasized that Turkey is a strategic partner of Turkmenistan.

Noting the importance of bilateral trade and economic partnership, the President of Turkmenistan paid special attention to the introduction of new technologies and advanced scientific achievements in various areas, international cooperation for the purpose of consistent modernization of the economy.

In this regard, confidence was expressed that the Turkish Export Goods Exhibition, held in the capital, will contribute to bringing trade and economic relations between the two countries to a higher level and further developing business ties.

The head of state confirmed Turkmenistan’s readiness to develop fruitful bilateral cooperation, including increasing trade turnover, and to consider specific proposals in various areas of mutual interest.
