Serdar Berdimuhamedov proposed to organize cross Days of Culture of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan

The Cross Days of Culture of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan were proposed to be organized in 2023-2024 by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the talks held today in Dushanbe with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

It should be recalled that last autumn the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan were successfully held in Turkmenistan.In this context, Emomali Rahmon proposed to hold the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan in the second half of this year and, as part of this event, jointly organize the Festival of Friendship between the Tajik and Turkmen peoples.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov is visiting Tajikistan for the first time on a two-day state visit since taking office as President of Turkmenistan last March.
