Spain authorities plan to lift mask regime

Spain will lift the obligation to wear masks on public transport on February 7, 2023. This was reported by the Spanish Health Minister Carolina Darias, reports the Reuters agency.

Spain is one of the last countries in Europe where mask regime is valid. Masks on public transport remained the last measure of COVID restrictions.

Germany is due to lift the rule of mandatory masks on buses and trains on February 2, and in Greece this rule expires on January 30.

In Spain mandatory indoors mask-wearing have already been lifted in the spring of 2022.
