On March 17, 2021, Ashgabat will host a scientific and practical seminar on “Experience in the development of fields with high gas content in carbonate reservoirs”. The seminar will take place at the Scientific Research Institute under the State Concern “Turkmengaz”.
The event will be organized by the State Concern “Turkmengaz” in partnership with Turkmen Forum.
The online seminar will be attended by leading experts from the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), a leading international non-profit professional organization of technicians in the petroleum industry.
The main goal of the Society is to accumulate and disseminate knowledge in the field of oil exploration and production, as well as the development of related technologies.The headquarters are located in Moscow, Dallas, Houston, London, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur.
During the seminar, experts will discuss such issues as the methodology for conducting gas-dynamic studies, computational methods for processing research materials and a review of software, wellhead equipment for operating wells producing gas with a high content of hydrogen sulfide, etc.
Also, the event will see a round table for the exchange of experience between experts of a wide range to promote the creation of platforms for cooperation between the scientific staff of the Scientific Research Institute under the SC “Turkmengaz” and SPE.
