Tedros Ghebreyesus re-elected as head of WHO

The current Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Ghebreyesus has been re-elected for a second term. The corresponding decision was made on Tuesday at a closed meeting of the 75th World Health Assembly, reports mir24.

Legal Adviser of WHO said: “The 75th World Health Assembly, on the proposal of the Executive Board, appoints Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus World Health Organization”. After the re-election, the head of the World Health Organization took the oath.
