The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Qatar M. Seyitmammedov met with the rector of the Qatar University of Science and Technology Salem Al Nuaimi. According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the parties considered steps to deepen cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere.
During the negotiations, the results of the recent visit of representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan to Qatar were summed up. The meeting participants also discussed joint participation in international scientific conferences and Olympiads planned to be held in the two countries in 2024.
In addition, the parties raised issues of intensifying bilateral contacts between Qatar University and the Turkmen diplomatic mission. In particular, the parties agreed to explore the possibilities of organizing cultural events as part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.
