The authorities of St. Petersburg plan to increase quotas for students from Turkmenistan

The authorities of St. Petersburg are planning to increase the quotas for the education of students from Turkmenistan in the universities and colleges of the city. This was announced by the governor of the city Alexander Beglov following a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, reports TASS.

The delegation of St. Petersburg is on an official visit to Ashgabat to participate in the events dedicated to the Independence Day of Turkmenistan, which is celebrated on September 27.

It should be noted that the governor of St. Petersburg comes to the Independence Day of Turkmenistan for the second year in a row.
