The “Bagtyyar” ferry from Turkmenistan set off with cargo to Russia

The closed joint stock company “Marine Merchant Fleet” sent its Ro-Pax ferry “Bagtyyar” on its first voyage this year from the port of Turkmenbashy to the Russian port of Olya with 40 cargo trucks loaded with food products, reports the website of the Agency of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan.

This flight marks an important step in strengthening trade ties between Turkmenistan and Russia, and also demonstrates the capabilities of the national sea carrier for the timely delivery of perishable goods.

The message also emphasizes that the modern navigation equipment of the “Bagtyyar” ferry guarantees the safety of the cargo along the route.
