The concert in the Great Hall of the Conservatory is dedicated to the 205th anniversary of Giuseppe Verdi

Today, the world music community celebrates the 205th anniversary of the birth of the greatest Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi, who wrote a record number of operas - 26.The best of them are “The Masked Ball”, “Rigoletto”, “Troubadour”, “La Traviata”, “The Power of Love ”,“ Don Carlos ”,“ Aida ”,“ Othello ”,“ Falstaff ”.

Grateful descendants named the crater on Mercury on behalf of maestro Verdi.

Giuseppe Verdi was born in 1813 - the same year as the great German composer Richard Wagner.They have never met, but this did not prevent the two musical geniuses from competing.

And yet, when Verdi learned of the death of Wagner, he said: “How sad!This name has left a deep mark in the history of art.Only one Wagner statement about Verdi is known.

Hearing his Requiem, a German, eloquent on unflattering comments in relation to other composers, said: "It is better not to say anything.

Beginning in 1961, in the Italian city of Busseto, an annual competition was held called “Verdi Voices.” Vocalists love Verdi’s works for passionate drama and gentle spirituality.

A large number of operas and the virtual absence of instrumental works by Verdi prompted the German composer Wilhelm Popp to shift the flute to a variation on the theme from the opera La Traviata. This piece opened the concert program flutist Emir Bairamgeldiyev. The audience greeted the piece with enthusiastic applause.

Paraphrases of the Hungarian composer Franz Liszt on the themes from the opera “Rigoletto” in the piano interpretation were masterfully performed by Bahar Annadurdyeva.The honored artist of Turkmenistan Bibidzhemal Amanova, laureate of the Altyn Asyr Amangeldy Amanov, Bakhar Durdyeva, Nurmurat Nuryyev and other vocalists presented arias from the operas “The Power of Love”, “Luisa Miller”, “Trubadur”, “Rigoletto”; , "Don Carlos", "Aida" ...

It is noteworthy that the concert program was completed, as well as it was opened with a fragment from the opera “La Traviata”. Violetta and Alfred's table was played by Bibidzhemal Amanova, Nurmurat Nuryyev and all the vocalists participating in the concert.

Full of sublime feelings and dramatic works and high performing skills turned the evening dedicated to the memory of Giuseppe Verdi into an unforgettable holiday for lovers of classical music.
