A concert dedicated to the 210th anniversary of Giuseppe Verdi was held at the Turkmen National Conservatory

A concert dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi, whose work is one of the greatest phenomena in the musical world, was held in the Great Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva to a full house.

According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the concert, organized by members of the chamber ensemble department, featured arias from Giuseppe Verdi’s operas “Un ballo in maschera”, “Sicilian Vespers”, “Rigoletto”, “La Traviata”, “Il Trovatore”, “Aida”, “The Power of Destiny”.

Their performers are laureates of the State Prize “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” Ayna Seyitkuliyeva, Bahar Durdyeva and Amangeldy Amanov, as well as Rovshen Bayramov and Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Bibijemal Amanova.

Also in the concert program was the “March” from the opera “Aida” performed on wind instruments by a trio of musicians - Babaguly Goshayev, Begench Rozyev, Arslanbek Seitlyev. The piano part was performed by Zemfira Jepbarova.

The concertmasters of the evening were Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov and international competition winner Stella Faramazova.
