2.National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Beijing to participate in the “One Belt, One Road” forum.Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov together with his wife Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova took part in the official welcoming ceremony of the forum participants.
The ceremony and group photography took place at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.In honor of the distinguished guests and members of their families, an official dinner was held on behalf of the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, during which cultural and artistic figures of the PRC made speeches.
3. A large delegation of representatives of Italian companies arrived in Ashgabat. The visit was organized by the Italian diplomatic mission in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in order to support the development of partnership between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
4.A delegation from the Korean Transport Institute visited Ashgabat within the framework of a tour of Central Asian countries and held meetings with representatives of a number of government departments responsible for the transport industry.
Ways to strengthen cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea in the field of transport, including railway and road, were discussed.One of the meetings took place at the office of the “Turkmendemiryollary” Agency.
The Korean side informed about its plans for possible participation in the implementation of various transport projects in Turkmenistan.
5. Ticket sales have started for the match of the 3rd round of the group stage of the 2023/24 AFC Cup “Merv” - “Altyn Asyr”. The game will be on Thursday, October 26, at the “Ashgabat” stadium.
6.The grand opening of a competitive exhibition dedicated to the national holiday - the Day of the Turkmen Alabai was held in the exhibition hall of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan.
Over 250 works depicting the valiant Alabai were made in various genres: painting, graphics, sculpture, tapestry, design installations.The jury will sum up the results of the competition on the eve of the holiday itself, which this year is celebrated on October 29.
