The delegation of Turkmenistan participated in “Central Asia Afghanistan” Consultative Dialogue

On April 5, 2026, the first meeting of the “Central Asia Afghanistan” Сonsultative Dialogue was held in Kabul.At the meeting, the Turkmen delegation was headed by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Afghanistan Hoja Ovezov.

About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.During the meeting, the sides discussed a joint assessment of the opportunities and challenges in relations between Afghanistan and the Central Asian countries, the expansion of economic and transit cooperation, as well as the development of a comprehensive roadmap for regional integration.

In his speech, H.Ovezov thoroughly informed the participants about the practical actions of the Turkmen side aimed at stimulating the economy of Afghanistan.The meeting participants supported the continuation of the “Central Asia Afghanistan” Consultative Dialogue.

Interest was also expressed in close cooperation on the implementation of joint projects related to the reconstruction of Afghanistan and the integration of the country into the system of global connections.
