The delegation of Turkmenistan participates in the 13th Central Asian Trade Forum

The delegation of Turkmenistan, which includes representatives of government departments and business structures of the country, is taking part in the 13th Central Asian Trade Forum, taking place on May 14-15 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This was reported on the website of the “Turkmen Logistics” Association.

On the first day of the regional event, a representative of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan spoke at the plenary session “Navigating Trade Standards”. Also, during the forum, experts discussed issues of entering new markets, optimizing logistics processes and held bilateral meetings.

On the sidelines of the forum, the “Turkmen Logistics” Association held a trilateral meeting with representatives of the USAID TCA Program and the Representative Office of the Royal Institute of Transport and Logistics in Central Asia. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation and plans for organizing educational events to improve the skills of Turkmen logisticians.

On the second day of the forum, the program includes bilateral meetings and participation in the Regional Meeting of National Committees for Trade Facilitation of Central Asian Countries.
