The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the human rights conference in Moscow

Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of the Protection of Human Rights: Exchange of Best Practices of Ombudsmen,” which was held in Moscow, TASS reports.

The event brought together ombudsmen, parliamentarians and representatives of government departments from 47 countries of Eurasia, Africa and Latin America.

The meeting was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It examined various aspects of the protection of human rights and freedoms, best practices of national legislation in this area and discussed other important issues related to the work of ombudsmen.
